Furys Ferry Boat Ramp

Furys Ferry Boat Ramp is located in the southern portion of the Long Cane Ranger District of the Sumter National Forest. The site offers boating and fishing opportunities.

Located on the Savannah River, this secluded boat ramp offers access to some of the finest fishing between Strom Thurmond Reservoir and Stevens Creek Dam. The area is managed to improve wildlife habitat. This goal, coupled with the close proximity to Stevens Creek makes the site ideal for recreational fishing and boating. A small picnic area situated among hardwoods adds to the attraction of this spot.

 Directions

From Edgefield, take SC Route 23 south for 8.2 miles. Bear left onto Route 230, drive 11.2 miles. Turn right onto Route S 19-53; drive 3.7 miles. Turn left onto Route S 19-53; drive to entrance on left. From Modoc, take SC Route 28 south for 9.7 miles. Turn left onto Route S 33-112; drive to entrance on right.
