  • Anderson

Visitors to Anderson can expect to find tree-lined streets, immaculate sidewalks, carefully maintained open garden spaces, and a variety of specialty stores that must be browsed. Anderson has a vast selection of eateries waiting to be explored.

  • Clarksdale

Clarksdale is a quiet, slow-paced town that relishes its long tradition of the Blues. Many famous Blues artist were born here, or at least called it home for a period of time. The Delta Blues Museum now stands as a tribute to the history and importance of Blues in the region. Clarksdale was also home to country music star Conway Twitty and legendary playwright Tennessee Williams, and October of every year brings the Mississippi Delta Tennessee Williams Festival. For those who feel lucky, Clarksdale and the surrounding area feature dozens of casinos.

  • Clemson

Clemson is located in northwestern South Carolina. Visitors will discover an array of restaurants, bars, and nightlife, and the area's excellent year-round temperatures encourage outdoor activities.

  • Greenwood

Situated in the hub of the Delta, Greenwood is infused with all that visitors have come to expect from a southern gem? and more. Historic downtown, located on the banks of the Yazoo River, is complete with carefully restored buildings which escort guests back in time. Restaurants offering home-style southern cuisine sit proudly next to chic boutiques, fine dining restaurants and eclectic art galleries.   • Jackson

In 1821, the legislature established Jackson as the capital of Mississippi. The town was was burned on three occasions during the Civil War but remarkably the gorgeous, massive Governor's Mansion survived. Today, jackson is bursting with marvelous museums, superb shopping, excellent eateries, down-home blues, and a massive quantity of history. One of Jackson's most unique features is the Mississippi Petrified Forest. Petrified logs, some 6 feet in diameter, were deposited in the area by a prehistoric river.

  • Spartanburg

Through the years, Spartanburg has collected a diverse population that gives the town a distinctive identity. It's clear that residents treasure their town's history, and adore its downtown. Downtown's tree-lined streets and decorative lampposts warmly greet visitors, and its eclectic mix of architecture teases them to explore.

  • Union

Union is a small community; with a downtown that displays narrow two and three story brick and clapboard buildings in varied condition. You won't find many hip bistros, high-end boutiques or gourmet coffee houses here, but you will discover a genuine piece of rural America.

  • Vicksburg

As a result of its importance during the Civil War, Vicksburg is somewhat of a mecca for history buffs. The Vicksburg National Military Park nearly encloses the city. The well-preserved battlefield includes over 1,000 historic monuments, and a remarkable 20 miles of trenches. Visitors are encouraged to cruise the mighty Mississippi and enjoy Vicksburg from the unique vantage point offered by riverboat. Carriage tours, walking tours, and spooky ghost tours make for an interesting way to learn about the fascinating history of this town. Vicksburg's Spring Pilgrimage (late March to early April) offers visitors a remarkable and unique opportunity to become familiar with the city's past through tours of its distinctive homes.
