South Carolina's Scenic Drives
Many may not associate South Carolina's natural make-up with more than beaches and flat expanses of southern green, but the landscape is a bit more exciting than that.
 | Mountains climb dramatically from the hills in the western stretch of the state. Rivers crisscross the green and one of these, the Chattooga River, is an excellent rafting river, one of America's Wild and Scenic, in fact, and you can drive right by it. South Carolina is also very rich historically and the Ashley River Road allows you to explore this as well. Click on any of the links below to explore specific scenic drives.
