Dayton has just over 165,000 residents and is Ohio's sixth largest city. Dayton is a city rich in inventive history, with more patents than any other town in the nation, and the birthplace of aviation pioneers, the Wright brothers. There are several parks and golf courses in the area as well as canoeing, and fishing. Dayton has a nice art institute, a large air force base, a symphony, ballet company and opera, as well as festivals and arts fairs year round.

Unique to the area is the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Park, which consists of several monumental sites including the Wright Brother's bike shop. The United States Air Force Museum is located in Dayton and is the largest military aviation museum in the world with over 200 planes, missiles and exhibits on display. For outdoor enthusiasts, there's Sycamore State Park, which offers fishing and camping, or Five Rivers Metroparks with several locations throughout Dayton with miles of biking and walking trails.

Dayton is accessible via I-70 east/west and I-75 north/south which meet just north of the town, and which are also linked by I-675. Dayton is about 55 miles north of Cincinnati, and 75 miles southwest of Columbus.
