Description

The trailhead is at the swimming area of Lick Fork Lake Recreation Area. Follow this easy to moderately challenging 1.9-mile loop through the picturesque woods surrounding Lick Fork Lake. A canopy of mixed hardwood and pine trees shelter fern, and a variety of wildflowers that flourish along the trail. This is a good hiking trail for girl and boy scouts.

Safety: During temperate months, be prepared for biting insects and high temperatures. The trail can be slippery and a bit challenging as you make your way across rocks to ford a stream.
