Enjoy an introduction to Charleston, a charming seaside southern city, at the Charleston Museum, a facility full of history-oriented exhibits, from a glistening silver collection to slave tags, firearms and furniture to natural history displays. Two historic homes, the Joseph Manigault House (a National Historic Landmark) and the Heyward-Washington House (where George Washington once stayed), are associated with the Charleston Museum, and can be visited for an additional fee.
