A reproduction of a 17th-century coastal trader, the Adventure, under construction at Charles Towne Landing in July 2006. The Adventure was a cargo vessel that carried supplies, provisions, commodities and livestock between New Amsterdam (presently New York) and Barbados in the West Indies.
